AIGA San Diego recently supported Portfolio Review’s for senior design students of Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego State University. Multiple students were honored for their work at the events and received financial awards totalling $1,000. In addition, we are underwriting 7-City College portfolio student’s attend the AIGA National Portfolio Festival.
“I am so grateful to AIGA San Diego for their generous support in recognizing design excellence at our Portfolio Review,” said Point Loma Nazarene University graphic design professor Courtney Meyer. “The awards for Best Print Portfolio ($150), Best Web Portfolio ($150) and other recognition elevated our annual senior capstone event. This gave these seniors so much pride and a super-positive impression of the value of the AIGA. Thank you!”
At the SDSU Portfolio Review, AIGA funded the following awards; for Best Portfolio in Print and Best Portfolio in UX/UI to our students. Lizzete Puentes and Lauren Short were both chosen respectively for these awards. The Student’s Choice award for Best Portfolio was awarded to Montserrat Ceja from this group of students.
