AIGA San Diego and friends will be touring Good Earth Plant Company & GreenScaped Buildings’ facilities, led by President and “Eco Warrior” Jim Mumford (pictured above)! We’ll get special behind-the-scenes access and learn how spectacular plantscapes and green environments are dreamt up and created.
This will be followed by a creative plantscape workshop where attendees can each make a customized air plant terrarium. You’ll learn about several of the common varieties and create your own living work of art. Air plants (“tillandsia”) are one of the hottest trends—not only do they look way cool, but they are also very easy to care for, requiring minimal light and water.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so consider this a fun, hands-on way to create the perfect gift...or keep it for yourself!
