Being a designer and building a business is a tricky balance, but when you are able to cultivate the creativity needed for client work to flourish while simultaneously understanding the needs of your business, magic happens. It is essential to lay a foundation that is unique and personalized to ‘who you are’ and ‘what you want’ in order to build a strong brand, have a healthy, more sustainable career and, ultimately, work on projects that matter to you. When the right blend of structure is in place, you thrive.
This workshop is for creatives ranging from those who have been thinking about starting a business, to the seasoned designer. We’ll address the essential steps for creating a clear plan for longevity and strength while staying in alignment with your purpose.
You will leave with tools to build a solid plan with your own manifesto. This includes investigating your vision and mission, then defining goals and building consistency. We will identify what will guide you in both the big picture and the day to day.
