AIGA San Diego Hike: Mount Woodson

Join us as we walk one of the most famous scenic routes in San Diego! Yes, we are doing Potato Chip Rock. Get ready for an early morning! Just look at any dating app to know that Mount Woodson trail is a staple activity for San Diegans. It's home to the famous Potato Chip Rock, where people will wait in line to get the iconic photo of them on the large granite boulder that has eroded so much that it looks very much like a potato chip.

Even if you’re not in it for the photo op, Mount Woodson is still a worthwhile hike. There are several trails that lead up the mountain, all of which provide a good workout. We will start at the Lake Poway park, which has bathrooms, picnic tables, and plenty of parking. Meet us in the parking lot and follow the facebook event for updates!

This event is free for everyone. We do ask that you RSVP so we have an accurate count.
