Let’s get ready to…Mingle!!! SDXD has partnered with the UX team at ESRI, Inc. to host an evening of mingling and hands-on activity fun at the beautiful Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. This event is the first of hopefully many chances for everyone from the general San Diego design community to meet each other, share experiences and ideas, and have some fun. Come meet fellow practitioners from all areas including UX design and research, interaction design, usability, visual design, graphic design, industrial design, and prototyping, just to name a “few.”

Attendance is free!

Light food will be provided along with a limited number of drink tickets (based on first come). Attendees can also purchase drinks at the bar.

Hands-On Mapping Exercise

Join us as the ESRI UX team shares the UX design principles they use to create beautiful mapping experiences. Try your hand at creating an application to track the location of mutants and zombies in the coming apocalypse or monitor aliens in the galaxy. This will be a fun and interactive event.

Parking:

Parking is available at the Marriott at $10/hr. There is also street parking available to the north of Harbor Drive.

Parking is also available in the Seaport Village lots, just behind the Marriott, at $4 for the first 3 hours with validation at Seaport Village and $3 every 30 minutes thereafter.

Additional parking at the Hilton on the corner of Harbor Drive & Park Blvd. is $10 all day.
