LINK wraps up another year.

The end of the year for the AIGA LINK students culminates in the LINK Art Show. LINK is a program that connects students in need with creative professionals who hold Saturday morning workshops throughout the year. In each workshop, students master a medium presented by a guest artist.

Come show your support and see what the kids have been up to. The event is free of charge.

LINK also took a Saturday field trip to Los Angeles to the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (LACMA) for a docent-led tour. They explored the rest of the museum including the featured Stanley Kubrick exhibit. Making it a double header, the LINK students then headed over to the Getty Museum for more art and a spectacular view of the city.

“If it wasn’t for LINK, I wouldn’t have been able to go all the way to Los Angeles, and especially the Getty Museum,” reports one student.

“I got to learn about they artists and what they were thinking when they created the art,” said another LINK student. “This inspires me when I make art.”
