Speaker
Janie is a Product Manager for Adobe Photoshop. Her love of graphic
design first emerged in a seventh grade yearbook classroom, where she
cut her design teeth on Adobe PageMaker. After completing her undergrad
in design at the University of North Carolina, Janie began working in a creative role at Scholastic, crafting print and digital experiences for kids. Realizing she was most energized by making digital tools, she followed her strengths for building deep empathy and connecting the right customers with the right tools through a transition into Product Marketing, and then onto Product Management, with a quick stopover at Northwestern. Joining Adobe to help make the products that power creativity has been one of her proudest moments and she enjoys going to work every day to deliver powerful tools to designers like herself. She holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and an MS in human-centered design from the Segal Design Institute at Northwestern.
Preparing for the event It is not mandatory to bring your device with you to learn about Photoshop 20.0. This class is designed to be beneficial with or without the program in front of you. If you do plan to bring a device, please have it fully charged.
