This moderately strenuous hike is a hidden gem and one of the favorites of our AIGA SD president, Dave Conover. So forget the crowds at Iron Mountain and the long line at Potato Chip Rock to take a picture. Go for solitude and silence in a group of 10+ creatives hiking the Ellie Lane Loop. The complete loop is a little under 6 miles with about 1,600 ft. of elevation gain through coastal sage, eucalyptus and giant boulders. There's also a spectacular view of mountain-ringed beaches and the ocean!
All levels of experience, age and fitness are welcome. Seriously, we’ll take it slow. After all, this is about enjoying the outdoors, having a good conversation and connecting with a fellow creative. That's you.
Meet us on Saturday morning, July 9, 8 a.m. at the Ellie Lane trailhead.

About AIGA Field Trips
