This should still be fun! (ish)

Hosts: Esther Andriopulos Coit

We all look for that everyday motivation to create great design. Some days it flows, sometimes it’s kismet. On other days, it takes a hammer and chisel to produce small gems of inspiration. Where does it derive from and how do we maintain a steady stream of it — enjoying the production as well as the direction? At the same time, how do we keep centered, peaceful and positive in a world that seems to be swirling? What can we do to add more of the fun factor into our lives and our work?

An AIGA National member, Esther began her career as magazine designer for one of the largest regional publications in the country, San Diego Magazine. As the owner and principal designer of Patera Design, Esther and her team have a 15-year-plus history of developing design solutions and partnering with clients including UC San Diego, Rady Children’s Hospital, IDEA Fitness Association, and Suneva Medical, Inc. She is excited about the new generation of design and creative thinking professionals that are growing an industry that has been her home for her entire career.
