AIGA invites you (even if you did not attend the Y25 Conference) to join us at the Y25 Party Extravaganza to celebrate:

  • Y-25 Conference
  • Kick-off of San Diego 2022 Design Week
  • Premiere Projecting Futures Exhibit

Attendees may explore the Museum, exhibits and enjoy appetizers and a hosted bar.

Followed by a procession led by student musians and dancers along with stilt-dancing performers from the Museum to the Spreckles Organ Pavilion for AIGA’S PROJECTING FUTURES.

ANIMAL CRACKER CONSPIRACY PROCESSION

Location: Organ Pavilion, Balboa Park

Date & Time: Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 8 PM

A whimsical procession led by Animal Cracker Conspiracy will guide guests from the Mingei to the Spreckles Organ Pavilion. The brief journey will be led by stilt-dancing performers and puppetry, a memorable hallmark of this unique, San Diego-based multi-disciplinary performance company, which is known for creative visual theater experiences.

PROJECTING FUTURES

Location: Organ Pavilion, Balboa Park

Upon arrival at the Spreckles Organ Pavilion, guests will enjoy the premiere of AIGA’s third Annual Projecting Futures exhibit. The immersive motion graphic experience showcases the work of designers of all levels from across the San Diego – Tijuana region. Produced in partnership with the San Diego Youth Symphony, Youth Ballet and Junior Theater, the effort is an inspiring and thought-provoking feast of high-impact design, music and dance.
