We will be heading west along the San Dieguito Park lagoon towards Del Mar beach shoreline and loop back to our original meeting point. Be inspired by lively conversation with other creatives and the breathtaking scenery of the marshlands wildlife inhabitants to help get your Summer in gear!

Distance: 5.5 miles (3 hours)
Difficulty: Easy, flat hiking dirt trail

Scenery: Coastal marsh lagoon waterway
Meet up: Coast to Crest Trail entrance, San Dieguito Lagoon Staging area kiosk. 15649 San Andres Drive, Del Mar, CA 92014
Directions: I-5 to East on Via de la Valle in Del Mar (opposite direction of Del Mar Fairgrounds), South on San Andres Drive (behind Del Mar Shopping Center) park along street. We will be meeting on access path that leads to staging area for the Coast to Crest trail.
After the hike: If interested, we may meet at a local "watering hole" for a post-hike food & beverage.

*Please wear good shoes. Hat and sunscreen recommended and bring plenty of water and a snack. Remember that you hike at your own risk.
