The AIGA San Diego Y Design Conference is a national-caliber design conference hosted by AIGA San Diego. The Y Conference brings together industry thinkers, innovators and change-makers for two days of creativity and collaboration.
Y22: Inclusivity is happening March 31-April 1, 2017! As the lines of design continue to blur and evolve with the times, our community of creatives is becoming more inclusive than ever before. The 2017 AIGA San Diego Y Design Conference is set to widen your view with two days of stimulating speakers and Thinkshops in sunny San Diego. More details will be coming soon!
The Y Conference has a reputation for featuring some of the most established names in design as well as up-and-coming talent. Recent Y-Conference keynote presenters have included Chip Kidd, Karim Rashid, Wayne White, Frank Chimero, Aaron Draplin, Patrick Coyne, and Michael Bierut.
Thinkshops and Workshops
The Y Design Conference offers unique Thinkshops. They provide the opportunity to learn something new, interact with fellow attendees, learn about the business of design and maybe even get your hands a little messy. Our “Shops” are small intimate sessions limited to 25 people or less. Thinkshops are on Friday, and Workshops are on Saturday. There is no additional fee to participate in either.
The AIGA San Diego Y Design Conference takes place every year at the amazing Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice on the beautiful campus of the University of San Diego. There you are, up on a hill overlooking Mission Valley and the waters of Mission Bay. Wow. You can’t help but be inspired.
