With the notion that success is delivering beyond expectations, Javier has done just that for 18 years. He has helped EFM grow from less than 10 to more than 35 employees, creating dynamic campaigns for numerous brands including Jenny Craig, Johnson & Johnson, Sony and more. Javier's specialties include brand strategy, integrated campaign planning and creative. He is an avid supporter of his team's personal and professional growth, and works to foster talent and encourage collaboration. When he's not in the office, Javier enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family.
CHRISTOPHER LEON
Assoc. Creative Director
With patience, positivity and wit, Christopher pushes boundaries to produce groundbreaking campaigns for brands like Palms Casino Resort, UNITE Hair Care and The Mirage. His career spans over 15 years with work recognized by Adweek and the WEBBY Awards. Christopher has a knack for stepping consumer mindset. He encourages his team to look beyond trends to produce campaigns that are moving, funny and timeless. A San Diego native, Christopher is a diehard Chargers and Padres fan, and loves to taste-test guacamole and craft beer throughout the city.
DAVID FRIED
Senior Copywriter & Strategist
Writer. Brand builder. Musician.
A multicultural wordsmith, David brings nearly a decade of agency experience to EFM, building brands and developing campaigns for clients like Intel, Shure, Kwikset, Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits, Pirch and ExxonMobil. David transforms valuable insights into effective strategies and executions for his clients. He combines his specialties – brand identity, content strategy, and voice and messaging guidelines – to tell distinctive brand stories that yield long-lasting results. When he’s not working with words, David turns to the language of music, playing guitar and recording compositions.
