A WORD OF THANKS TO OUR VENUE HOST

The Media Design School of Digital Arts at NSAD was established in 2013 as a unique collaboration between NewSchool of Architecture and Design in San Diego, California, and the industry-wide recognized Media Design School in Auckland, New Zealand, which has been providing higher education for creative industries since 1998.

The world is becoming a more visual place. From magazines to mobile interfaces, from graffiti to corporate logos, from advertising to 3D animation – everywhere, the synergy of colors, words, and symbols conveys the ideas and messages to a target audience. This means that graphic designers are in high demand by a vast range of businesses. They are hired to create brand identity, printed material, ads, and websites. And advances in technology continually open the field to new media. Today’s designers are in a unique position to shape our culture and our responses to the environment around us.
