There is a new kid on the block in downtown San Diego’s growing East Village—the Urban Discovery Academy is a vibrant and innovative new charter school, encouraging its students to learn through discovery and engagement with the community.

Championed and designed by MaeLin Levine and SEGD member Amy Levine of Visual Asylum, the school incorporates a vibrant color palette and energetic environmental graphics and signage. Join us as we take a tour of the facility and follow along as MaeLin and Amy share with us their process in making this dream school come true.
