AIGA San Diego is pleased to promote the following community event as we think it may be of interest to our members; this event is not hosted by AIGA.

The Latin American Arts Council of The San Diego Museum of Art will sponsor an audiovisual lecture titled Luis Barragán: A Legend in Modern Mexican Architecture by Gregorio Luke at the museum auditorium. This lecture, illustrated with over two hundred images, will present not only Barragán’s work but the many influences that shaped his creations.

Barragán received the Pritzker Architechture Prize in 1980. The spiritual power and originality of his works have influenced three generations of Mexican architects.
